Ik weet dat er mensen zijn die de achterkant in een keer oplieten met een krik onder het differentieel. Dat vind ik maar niks, dus ik doe het even wiel voor wiel. Op de handrem/versnelling en blokjes voor de andere wielen.

Even opkrikken, wiel eraf, assteun onder de triangel, beetje laten zakken en je kunt er makkelijk bij zonder dat er spanning op staat.

Simpel klusje, maar wel hard nodig. Beide zijden waren kapot. Rubbertje gescheurd, al het vet weg en allerlei vuil en narigheid erin. Nog een wonder dat ze niet meer speling hadden.

Ok, plastiek en geen metaal. Maar ja, ik rij minder dan 5000 km/jaar dus ik hoop toch een aantal jaren geen problemen te hebben.

Vanmiddag op de Techno Classica geweest. Niemand die deze stangetjes had. W123 is nog steeds te jong voor de MB onderdelenhandelaren. Wel een mooi gebonden versies van het bekende onderdelenboek op de kop getikt bij de Duitse W123 club. De MB dealer heeft ze op voorraad dus ik haal ze van de week wel even op en zet ze er gelijk onder

Maar toen ik toch onder de auto lag, nog maar eens even aan alles gerukt en getrokken. Op beide stabilisatorstangetjes achter wat speling, dus die ga ik vervangen.

Morgen ga ik naar Techno Classica in Essen dus ik hoop ze daar te vinden. Anders heeft MB hier om de hoek ze ook nog wel.
Er staat me zelfs bij dat ik in het verre verleden weleens een ander lid heb geholpen met het vervangen. Bij Arie en Nico of zo?

Hoe zat het ook alweer. Moet je de auto opkrikken en of wiel eraf? In welke positie staat er de minste spanning op die stangetjes zodat je de boel gemakkelijk los en weer vast kunt krijgen. Beide wielen op de grond?
