Troep. Een ander woord is er niet voor te bedenken. Door die bagger (IE7 is ook weer opnieuw bagger) niet veel verder te ontwikkelen, zorgt Microsoft ervoor dat de ontwikkelingen op HTML gebied ernstig vertraagd worden. IE7 is een doekje voor het bloeden. Zaten in IE6 ernstige bugs waar veel omheen gewerkt moest worden, IE7 lost er een aantal op, maar introduceert weer nieuwe bugs die waarschijnlijk weer 5 jaar blijven zitten.

Helaas weten normale gebruikers dit niet en blijven braaf Internet Explorer gebruiken terwijl Firefox veel sneller is en ervoor zorgt dat nieuwe ontwikkelingen op webgebied ontstaan.

Mijn advies; download Firefox op Windows of koop een Mac.

Cool!]]> Er zijn natuurlijk veel mogelijkheden op peeseegebied, dus ook voor browsers. Ik denk dat je gewend raakt aan je 'eigen' browser. Er is denkelijk op elke browser wel iets aan te merken. Ik gebruik b.v. al een paar jaar Maxthon en dat bevalt me uitstekend. Mijn vrouw kan er niet mee omgaan en die gebruikt Internet Explorer van Microsoft. Andere mensen die ik ken gebruiken ook weer andere browsers. Gebruik wat je plezierig vind en neem de lekken (die er bijna altijd zijn) voor lief. Zelfs Windows wordt afgekraakt door een grote groep mensen, (kijk maar naar de fora van Linux) hoewel dat toch het meest populaire besturingssysteem is.
Overigens vind ik dat een dergelijke discussie niet thuishoort op een site van liefhebbers van klassiekers!
