Ook hier ligt een 250D in.

De auto is omgebouwd door Herrman Karosserie in Hamburg. De oorspronkelijke motor gaf na twee jaar de geest en is toen omgewisseld voor een 3Liter 5 cylinder, in combinatie met een 5 versnellingsbak.
Hierna heeft de auto 13 jaar stilgestaan. Daarna is de auto in handen gekomen van een Groninger, in 1996.
Hij heeft 10 jaar met de auto gereden en het blok heeft na revisie 40.000 km gedraaid.
Weer heeft de auto 10 jaar stilgestaan, maar toen hij de auto ophaalde, was 1 startpoging genoeg om de auto weer tot leven te wekken.
Met oude diesel.. Wel de nodige rookontwikkeling natuurlijk, maar toch...
De auto staat nu op camperkenteken.
Hij gaat deze auto helemaal weer opbouwen, met een 2.5 liter 5 cylinder erin.
Origineel blijft ie dus niet, maar ik weet zeker dat ie er iets moois van gaat maken.
Zit wel redelijk veel werk aan. Gelukkig heeft ie "gouden handjes"

Hoe lang een en ander gaat duren weet ik niet, want hij is ook nog met de W115 bezig waar ook een 2.5 5 cylinder inkomt.
Deze wordt ook zo goed als nieuw.
