Deze vervangt de kontaktpunten en de kondensator.

Mijn ervaring was niet zo goed maar dat kwam omdat het setje wat ik gekocht had schijnbaar kapot was, ik heb toen alles gewoon netjes teruggebouwd naar origineel. Jammer, maar ik zie de voordelen wel van electronische ontsteking (betere vonk bij hoge toerentallen, geen kontaktpunten die verslijten).

De verdeler van een 230E of 280E past NIET.

Of de W116 met 6cilinders.
En voor de V8 zou je moeten kijken naar bv de W116 (ook geleverd met V8) .

de 280 motor van een W108 is bv een heel andere type motor als de 280 m110 motor wat in de W123 ligt.
ik denk niet dat die uitwisselbaar zijn , maar zeker weet ik het niet.
