hier nog wat foto'tjes van vrienden die vorig jaar in Marokko waren.
let eens op de bodemplaat op de ene foto, tjonge jonge, apk tje kennen ze niet.
mr C. vertelde dat ze daar gootsteen zeefjes in de blowergaten hadden bling bling

Nou op die laatste foto zie je ook wel wie de broek aanheeft

Eigenlijk zijn dit de mooiste Benzen. Zo is bij mij de liefde voor de W123 ontstaan, door het zien van hoe loeigoed deze auto's eigenlijk zijn. Keihard worden ze elke dag ingezet en draaiende gehouden. De motoren worden 's-ochtends aangezet en draaien de hele dag. Tot er 7 mensen in zittten en dan vertrekken ze. Respect voor de W123's die over de vaak slechte wegen met 7 personen en een hoop bagage de grote afstanden moeten afleggen over de vaak erbarmelijk slechte wegen. Standen van dik over 1 miljoen kilometer. Zo is de W123 het mooist Afgeleefd, als bikkels hun mannetjes staan, onder alle omstandigheden.



Ik wil ook wel wat leuke W123's uit Maroc posten, maar wil je topic niet overnemen hoor, het lijkt me hier wel bij passen.

In deze omgeving, richting Agadir zijn ze weer groen. Ze houden daar een beetje kleuren thema's aan


Marrakech!




Nog een snuiteer met een W123, maar dit keer geen Marrokaan, een imbeciel uit Nederland die op de markt in Marrakech zonnebloemolie had gehaald.




En in de Westerlijke Sahara zijn ze weer blauw.


Hier worden vele W123's volgeladen die de lange trip naar de grens met Mauritanie maken.


En maar lopen drukken, want ik reed maar 100km/h .. Dat schiet natuurlijk niet op als je nog 2500km moet



Prachtig, op de transatlantische route rijden gewoon hoofdzakelijk W123's. The Queen of the Sahara!


Dan rijd je na verloop van tijd Marokko weer uit.


Maar ook in Mauritanie rijden ze rond. Alleen dan is de staat wel wat erbarmelijker.... hier in Nouackchott

geweldig Jurgen, wat zijn er toch ook ontzettend veel gemaakt, niet normaal meer. Te bedenken dat deze taxi's allemaal nog een vorig leven bij misschien wel andere Europeaan hadden ?

Ik heb er heel erg veel, maar niet alleen uit Marokko. Ik wil wel een topic aanmaken 'De W123 in het buitenland'. Ik heb er bijna uit elk land waar ik ben geweest minimaal een, met als toplanden natuurlijk Albanie en Marokko

De lange afstandstaxi's in Marokko. Zwaaien doen ze daar niet. Je zwaait hier toch ook niet naar iemand die ook in een Golf rijdt?


Een bruine W123 in de Westerlijke Sahara. Mooi verhoogd en uiteraard een 240D met handbak. Zo zien ze ze het liefst.


Een groepje rode W123 taxi's in de Westerlijke Sahara. Vlak na de grens met Mauritanie, op de terugweg naar Marokko.


Een schitterende W123 in Ghana, vrij zuiderlijk in Ghana in de bush. nabij Cape Coast


W123 in Western Burkina Faso


Een volledig operationele Taxi in Ouagadougou (Wat? Ja.. Ouagadougou ja)


Een verlaten T in de Sahara, Mauritanie. Dan moet er echt wat aan de hand zijn, want een T hebben ze ook daar haast niet.


En wat doe je als je geen T hebt, maar wel een sedan? Precies.


Dat was natuurljk een grapje. De T achterlichten zijn daar allemaal stuk. Ik denk dat iemand er genoeg van had, en zo de juiste oplossing vond, als het achterlicht nog een keer stuk gaat? Geen probleem, gewoon een van een sedan kopen, die zijn er genoeg.


Een nog schitterende wagon in Bamako, de hoofdstad van Mali. Ik denk dat deze T er pas kort rond rijdt

Een 240D in de Oekraine. Schitterend!
