W123 230TE uit 1982 Ik heb mijn luchtfilter eraf gehad om de 2 slangetjes naar de kleppendeksel opnieuw vast te zetten,
nu alles weer terug gezet is kom ik deze, ik denk luchtslang tegen maar kan niet vinden waar ie op/aan zou moeten,
is een best dikke slag met bovenop 2x haakse aansluiting. (lijkt op koffer handvat) Wie o wie heeft een idee?

op het gat boven op luchtfiter deksel

Inderdaad, op je deksel van de luchtfilter zit een groot gat en daar moet hij op

Raar, zit geen gat in de deksel? Wat doet die slang eigenlijk? Zie op de foto's is logischste plaats, dan klemt ie ook mooi op de rand.

hij hoort toch echt bovenop het deksel.
zit een verkeerd deksel op of er moet ergens een carter ontluchting gemaakt zijn .

Hier zie je waar de slang is aangesloten. Het deksel lijkt idd niet origineel. De slang is de carterontluchting, (verbrandings)gassen die uit het carter komen worden afgezogen en in de motor teruggeleid. Dit voorkomt dat de druk teveel oploopt in het motorblok en dat verbrandingsgassen in de luchtinlaat van het interieur terecht komen.

Kunnen die verbrandingsgassen naar benzine ruiken?

Carterdampen zijn niet echt gezond, beter zou 't zijn om een net luchtfilterhuis te plaatsen om zo de Carterdampen de motor te kunnen invoeren. Misschien bij Mercedes-only of van Dijk enz..

Deze slang maakt deel uit van de carterventilatie, maar ook van de schubabschaltung, bij coasting, uitrollen bij gas los, gaat de benodigde lucht die demotor aanzuigt om de luchtweger heen, zodat er geen brandstof wordt ingespoten in deze situatie.
Nu wordt er ongefilterde lucht aangezogen.
Overigens zit er onder het luchtfilter nog een slang voor de carterventilatie, deze is voor de hogere toerentallen.
