Bij mijn M110 (280E) wilde ik vandaag de bougies inspecteren en zo nodig vervangen. Maar als ik de bougiekabels verwijder en boven in het blok kijk, ligt het rond de bougies vol met vuil. En het lijkt mij dan ook niet verstandig de bougies te verwijderen, vanwege het risico dat dit vuil in de cilinder komt.
Nou lijkt het net of ik een klein uitstroomgaatje naast de bougie zie. Is het zo dat ik het vuil kan wegspuiten met de hoge druk reiniger en het water dan wegloopt?
Vanzelfsprekend doe ik dat niet met de hoogste druk. Ik denk dat ik er eerst wat Dasty in doe en dan met de hoge druk reiniger met lage druk, de viezigheid wegspuiten.
Het lijkt mij wel logisch dat vocht daar weg moet kunnen lopen, maar voor dat ik er aan begin: loopt het water weg langs de bougies, bij een 280?

Gaatjes even schoonmaken doorprikken, vaak zitten ze verstopt

Aha! Dankjewel, er zitten dus wel degelijk gaatjes.
Misschien nog een tip waarmee ik de gaatjes kan doorprikken? Heb het geprobeerd met VD-draad, van die elektriciteitskabel voor in huis, maar die lijkt te dik.

Ja zijn echt kleine gaatjes ,is al een tijdje geleden dat ik dat gedaan heb.
Maar volgens mij heb ik het toen eerst met ijzerdraadje gedaan

Probeer een paperclip. Even open buigen en je hebt een mooi draadje. Werkt ook goed bij de ruitensproeier.

Heb eerst het blok goed schoongemaakt en ben aan het werk gegaan.

Er blijkt aardig wat gruis te liggen rond de bougies, wat niet door de drains past.
En precies waar ik zo voorzichtig om deed, is gebeurd ..., een steentje is in de cilinder gevallen.

Een sateh-stokje met dubbelzijdige tape en ik heb het er weer uit.

Het is maar dat je het weet: goed oppassen!

De volgende keer de opening eens uitblazen met perslucht. Wel een veiligheidsbril opzetten.

Stofzuiger even lenen
Niet iedereen heeft perslucht bij de hand
Meestal wel stofzuiger
Eventueel als vrouw even niet kijkt

Doe het ook altijd met een oude stofzuiger (van de kringloopwinkel) voordat de bougie er uitgedraaid worden.
