Ik heb even jullie wijze raad nodig. Ik wil mijn koelvloeistof wisselen
1) maar hoe kan ik dit het beste doen en wat heb ik nodig?
2) hoeveel liter gaat er in ?
3) welke koelvloeistof

ik deed in mijn W123/ 250 Glysantin G48. Mixen met gewoon water. Of gedistilleerd water. Ik kocht ze indertijd bij TE-Taxiteile. Waren bussen van 1,5 L toen. De mengverhouding staat op de bus. Laat niet alleen de radiator af, maar ook de aflaatstop aan de zijkant van het motorblok. En ook de verwarmingskranen op warm zetten. Zodat je bijna alle oude koelvloeistof uit het blok hebt. Eventueel eerst eens vullen met gewoon water daarna, en een half uurtje laten draaien of een ritje mee doen. Daarna terug alles aftappen en dan pas vullen met de nieuwe Antivries/Koelvloeiistof. Als je maar blauw/groene Antivries neemt zit je normaal goed. Zeker niet de rose nemen, dat is voor moderne motoren.

De M102 motor vraagt 8,5 liter koelmiddel.

in principe een silicaat houdende koelvloeistof (G11 ). Dit is een ouderwetse voor cilinderkoppen van gietijzer.

Maar deze zie ik zo snel nergens te koop. Zelfs bij de Action is de blauwe G11 silicaat vrij.

Maar de silicaat vrije kun je ook gebruiken voor gietijzeren koppen. Deze is ontwikkeld voor de aluminium koppen
maar prima ook voor de oudere motoren.

andersom wordt het afgeraden, silicaat houdende koelvloeistof NIET gebruiken voor aluminium, dat schijnt intevreten.

deze info komt gewoon van google, beetje lezen en je weet het.

vandaag het koelvloeistof gewisseld. Dat werd ook zeker wel tijd. De jaren stilstand heeft de Benz niet heel goed gedaan. Ik heb de boel zo goed mogelijk gespoeld met water en het thermostaat gewisseld. Nu is alleen nog steeds het probleem dat de temperatuurmeter nog steeds geen goed temperatuur aan geeft hij komt niet boven de 40 graden. Dus in neem aan dat deze sensor kapot is.
