Bertha heeft een compleet versleten rubber van het tussenlager van de cardanas. Dus as eruit, het nodige demonteren om rubber er af maar en vooral weer overheen te krijgen. Probleem is dat in de flens welke de schroefverbinding vormt van het andere deel van de as een metalen afdichtingsring zit (nummer 29). Bij monteren (eerst lomp met hamer, niet gezien dat er een ring zat) in de tweede poging met nieuwe ring rustig aandraaiend proberen te monteren. Ondanks een overload aan teflon brak de ring weer.
ergo: hoe monteer je deze ring. Het betreft nummer 31 wat in groef op 29 gemonteerd wordt. dit gaat prima maar wanneer 29 weer in as geperst moet worden dan gaat het mis. iemand een idee?

Wellicht zit het in de volgorde van monteren? Moet je het lager niet eerst in het huis persen en daarna over de as?

Dank je wel voor de goede informatie math,
Het gaat mis bij het een na laatste plaatje
De flens draai je dan terug op de as
In die flens zit een metalen ring, dit is een open ring
Bij het inpersen breekt deze, wellicht omdat kracht niet geheel verdeeld wordt over hele aanrakings oppervlak
Dit is afgeschuind zodat die ring automatisch dicht (uiteinden naar elkaar toe) kan schuiven
Nu plan om dit zeer rustig te gaan doen, wellicht met 2 dunne schroevendraaiers de uiteinden naar elkaar toe te laten bewegen tijdens inpersen

Ik ben benieuwd of het lukt. Dit oudere systeem hebben ze best ingewikkeld opgebouwd, later werd het veel simpeler.

geduld en beleid is een schone zaak....
Zoals boven beschreven heel rustig flens op de as geperst, ring dcjtgedrukt met 2 schroevendraaiertjes en het zit!
We rijden weer.
