Heb een maand geleden LPG in mijn nieuwe W123 250 1977 laten zetten.
Bij de eerste meting liep de auto 1 op 5,2 als ik het aantal kilometers door het aantal liters LPG deelde. Gevraagd aan garage of ze hem zuiniger konden afstellen. Nu loopt de W123 1 op 4,5
Niet echt een verbetering dus

Kennen jullie een garage in Noord-Holland die gespecialiseerd is in het afstellen van oude Mercedessen die op LPG rijden?

1 op 5.2 op LPG in de winter is toch redelijk zeker voor een 250 6 cylinder, je kunt ook niet verwachten dat deze fabriek waarde gaat halen en dat is meest gunstige geval 1 op 6.8 op benzine bebouwde kom.

Weet niet of n 250 dorstiger is dan een M110 280, maar ik heb die laatste in een W114 op LPG lopen en haal 1 op 6,7 zonder al te veel moeite. Maar het is niet alleen de LPG afstelling die invloed heeft op t verbruik.

De klepspeling, de timing van de ontsteking (vroeger dan op benzine, en is het vacuüm voor de vervroeging oké?) de bougies (in de M110 BP6ES, let op zónder R) en kabels (1 kOhm) doen ook allemaal mee. Mengsel, vonk en timing. Zijn die alle in orde?

Zou als je dat niet al gedaan hebt het hele rijtje ff nalopen.
Succes en laat nog ff horen hoe je t gefixt hebt.

Beste is eerst om de motor op benzine goed af te laten stellen en dan het verbruik meten.
LPG afstellen doe ik met toerenteller max koppel toerental vast zetten wat meer LPG geven schroef uitdraaien als het toerental gaat stijgen weer terug zetten naar max koppel rpm,net zo lang totdat er geen verschil meer merkt dan een 1/2 slagje terug.
Vaak kun je met een iets wat rijk afgestelde LPG setting toch nog zuiniger rijden als met een te krap afgestelde LPG.
Het is in principe niet meer als een gasslang die tussen de gasklep zit alle overige afstellingen hebben geen invloed behalve het stationair gedeelte.
Alles is wat gevoeiliger op LPG vooral vacuum en onsteking en thermostaat moet 100% zijn.

Heb nog een meting gedaan, en kwam nu op 1 op 5,7 uit op LPG
Vooral snelwegkilometers bij een snelheid van 90 tm 100 km per uur. Wel in de winter

Heb de 250 een maand of twee. Er zitten nieuwe bougies, kabels en elektronische ontsteking in.
Denk dat ik bij de eerste beurt ik aan de garage moet vragen om inderdaad de benzineafstelling en kleppen goed af te stellen. Zodra ik dat heb laten doen zal ik een nieuwe meting doen en het hier melden

Mocht er hier een expert op dit forum zitten in Noord-Holland die al voor die beurt wil helpen dan hou ik mij altijd aanbevolen natuurlijk
