zo weer even updaten, de deuren van de Mercedes 190 zijn klaar moesten nog aardig wat stukken in gezet worden.

er zat nog een lelijke plek onder het eind van de sierstrip van de rechter voordeur, ik heb besloten om het met de gritstraler helemaal kaal te maken en niet te lassen, nu kunnen we het spuitwerk beperken tot onder de sierstrip. als je er een stuk in gaat lassen brand de verf erboven gelijk weg en dan moet je eigenlijk de hele deur spuiten. daarna de bodems van de deuren en de kofferbakrand bijgespoten en de deurrubbers gemonteerd.

hij staat klaar en krijgt volgende week de dinitrolbehandeling dan heb ik nog wat laswerk, ontroest en bijwerk gedaan bij 2 moderne auto's. en nu is de citroen xm weer terug voor het laswerk boven de achteras. daarvoor was het nodig om de achteras te laten zakken en dat ging eigenlijk heel erg goed, ik heb hem ondersteund met 3 steunpunten en daarna voorzichtig de brug omhoog gedaan dit was maximaal en net genoeg om het de dremel er tussen te kunnen. anders hadden alle hydrolische leidingen los gemoeten en daar zat ik niet echt op te wachten. en dan het zelfde verhaal als altijd het rotte eruit en weer vers staal erin.

de verstevigingsplaten heb ik compleet nieuw gemaakt want het had geen zin om het nieuwe stukken aan te gaan zitten knetteren. ze zijn 3 mm dik dus kunnen weer wat hebben.

de linkerkant is klaar, rechts zijn de bintjes al weer bijna dicht dus volgende week afmaken en weer afmonteren.

Bas jij gaat maar door , het dak van de 124 is voor grijs kenteken , dus een van de weinige 124 station met grijs kent , scoot van het vrouwtje past er in dus dat komt goed , nog wel een paar dingetjes doen , 4 gaatjes in de bodem ( valt erg mee ) en nog iemand vinden voor de distr ( heb ik geen verstand van ) rammelt goed dus ook de geleiders moeten vervangen worden , maar ik ben er blij mee , en ik ben dus weer mobiel

John het staat goed dat dak

ik heb nog een leuk projectje gehad vorige week, het is een jeep die voor een dinitrol behandeling kwam, maar er bleek toch een aardig gaatje in een chassisbint te zitten, dat is ook niet zo gek als de bint helemaal vol zit met zand en zand houd lekker water vast en dan gaat het hard. het heeft dan ook geen zin meer om er een stukje plaat in te lassen, de bind is 4 mm dik maar op die plek was die nog 1 mm en stond op het punt om te breken het gekke is dat toen ik het rotte eruit had dat de rest van de bind en de andere kant er nog prima uit ziet. maar voordat ik het kon repareren moest een gedeelte van de ophanging los, de steun van de ophanging voor een gedeelte weghalen en een stuk van de steun waar de carrosserie mee vast zit aan het chassis weghalen. en het was best een hoop werk voordat alles weer schoongeslepen was zodat het nieuwe staal er weer in kon, want 4 mm dik breekt en buig je niet zo makkelijk, aan alle randen heb ik een flinke schuine kant geslepen zodat je verder in kan branden met het lasapparaat hij moet natuurlijk goed doorgelast zijn.

dan een nieuw bodempje erin en voordat de buitenplaat er weer op kon eerst lekker dik in de zink gespoten zodat die alvast beschermd is. dan buitenplaat erop en de steun van de ophanging en de steun van de carrosserie weer gerepareerd, dan alles schoonslijpen en in de zink.

mijn collega werkt maandag de binnenkant en buitenkant van de bint bij met dinitrol en dan kan de jeep er weer tegen. was een leuk klusje, het is heel anders werken met 4 mm i.p.v 1 mm dik plaat.

zo weer even een update er zijn weer de nodige auto's voorbij gekomen voor een dinitrol behandeling en laswerk. maar dit is wel weer een leuke om te laten zien. het is een W123 200 van een mede forum lid met een paar apk puntjes. voorste uitlaatdemper lek, wieldraagarm ra stukje rot, en dorpel lv rot. als eerst de wieldraagarm gerepareerd, uitlaatdemper vervangen en de steun naar de automatische bak gerepareerd. het beugeltje om de uitlaatdemper vast te zetten was compleet verrot een nieuwe was niet leverbaar dus even een nieuw beugeltje gemaakt van 2 uitlaatklemmen.

tja en dan de dorpel lv, als je dan het interieur werggehaald heb en het scherm los dan schrik je tocht wel een beetje. het voorste stuk vloerdeel/ dorpel bestond niet meer uit metaal maar er had iemand heel creatief een tube kit leeggespoten dus voerdeel, dorpel, kriksteun, dorpelkop en het plaatwerk erboven verrot dus weer genoeg te lassen. de bouten waar het scherm mee vast zit waren alleen nog maar stompjes dus daar heb ik moeren opgelast om ze los te krijgen.

dus dan de slijptol er weer in totdat de roest weg is, dan kriksteun hersteld en een nieuw stuk gemaakt voor in de vloer.
