Omdat m'n 200D toch wat meer rookte dan ik zou willen, had ik ambitieus nieuwe klepseals mee besteld om mee te pakken bij het volgende klep stel moment.

Ik vraag me alleen af of het de juiste zijn, omdat degene die ik ontvangen heb een stalen/metalen ondergedeelte hebben (zie foto).Ook lijkt mijn motor nummer niet op het stickertje te staan, terwijl hij op de website wel genoemd werd...

Moeilijk om een antwoord te geven als we niet weten wat jouw motornummer is Luke.

Ik zie wel een hele rij met 615 motoren genoemd.
Als ik zoek op het Elring nummer, komt de 200D 76-85 naar voren, dat zou kloppen.
De afbeelding die ik tegenkwam op de website was een standaard afbeelding van een klepseal zonder metaal, en dat wordt ook als zodanig aangegeven.
Mijn voorzichtige conclusie is, dat je de juiste set hebt.
Wat zegt de leverancier ervan?

Er zijn twee versies van. De motoren met meer pk's (dus een 60pk-200D) heeft een nieuw type klepseal, die mag wel worden gebruikt op oudere motoren, maar de oude hogere klepseals mogen niet gebruikt worden gebruikt op de nieuwe motoren. Hoge oude klepseals zijn 13,7 mm, de nieuwe zijn 13,0 mm.

Bedankt voor jullie snelle reacties, super. Ik heb een OM615.940. Had nog antwoord gekregen van de leverancier, en op basis van VIN en motor nummer zouden ze moeten passen. De hoogte heb ik ook gecontroleerd en is 13 millimeter. Ik was vooral erg verbaasd dat de buitenring metaal is, dat had ik niet verwacht.

Ergens dit weekend wilde ik deze klus gaan oppakken, bovenste dode punt bepalen van cilinders 2, 3 en 4 is gewoon 360 graden / 4 -> dus op 90, 180 en 270 lijkt me?

En dan natuurlijk de ontstekingsvolgorde aanhouden.

Volgens mij heb ik 1 en 4 vervangen met krukas op OT en de andere twee met de krukas op 180º, maar elke cilinder vervangen op inspuitmoment mag ook. De bruggen op dezelfde plaats terug monteren, zorg dat de bruggen goed weglegt, dat je weet waar ze gemonteerd waren.

Nogmaals bedankt voor de reacties. Gisteren heb ik de klepseals vervangen, met de hulp van het linkje dat Govert stuurde, dat is inderdaad een mooi en duidelijk verslag. Uiteindelijk heb ik OT (cil 1 en 3) en 180 (2 en 4) graden gebruikt en ook nog even gecontrleerd of ik de zuiger 'voelde' vlak voordat de borgmoer eraf ging. Zal was foto's van de klus in m'n logboek plaatsen

Heb je 1 en 3 in OT vervangen? of 1 en 4? 1 en 4 staan als het goed is beide omhoog in OT.

Je hebt helemaal gelijk Govert, inderdaad 1 en 4 op OT, 2 en 3 op 180 graden. Bedankt voor de rectificatie. Het was nog vroeg vanmorgen denk ik..

ben wel eens benieuwd naar het resultaat, verbruik, met starten?
Ik zie duidelijk ook een verschil met welke brandstof ik tank. Vpower diesel aanzienlijk minder rook ontwikkeling, dan de goedkoopste diesel van bv Argos.
Qua olie verbruik maakt het weer niet uit.

Ik ben ook erg benieuwd. Na het vervangen nog erg weinig gereden. Bij de koude start leek hij wat minder te roken, al was het nooit echt extreem. Qua olie verbruik hoop ik dat'ie wat minder gaat drinken, verbruik was ongeveer 1 liter op 2500 km. Ik verwacht wel een verschil, aangezien er toch wel 2 erg losse seals tussen zaten.
