Ik heb in mijn boot een OM615.940.
Naar mijn gevoel heeft deze een te hoge oliedruk van rond de 6 bar na de start.
Na een tijd zakt de olie druk bij stationair draaien naar rond de 4 bar.
Tijdens het varen rond de 1800 toeren is de druk 6 bar. (tevens gemeten met een mechanische meter)

Onlangs hebben we vervangen en uitgevoerd
- nieuwe koppakking
- nieuwe distributieketting
- kleppen gesteld 15 in / 35 uit
- oliekoeler en ander oliefilterhuis geinstaleerd
- overdukventiel op de oliepomp schoen gemaakt en gecheckt of deze vast zat
- olie ververst en oliefilter vervangen

Waarom vindt je dat te hoog?

Welke olie kieper je er in?

Naar mijn weten moet de olie druk tussen de 2 en 3 bar zijn. Gebruikte olé is 15 W40

Weet je zeker dat de meter een juiste waarde geeft?
Zo uit het hoofd dacht ik dat het overdrukventiel bij 4 bar opent.
Als dat goed werkt, zouden de hoge waardes niet gehaald kunnen worden.
Met de drukken die jij meet, zouden de keerringen en pakkingen moeite hebben om de olie binnen te houden, zeker op langere termijn.

Overdrukventiel na het schoonmaken goed gemonteerd ?

wat kan je daar fout aan doen?

Er staan verscheidene overdrukventielen op die bladen. Welke hoort bij jouw motornummer?
Ik lees er 1 van 3 bar, meerdere van 5 bar en een hoogste van 8 bar.

Dat zal maar net het verschil zijn waarvoor die motor destijds bedoeld was: in de auto, in een reefer, in een heftruck, in een Unimog, in een ankerlier, naar welk werelddeel werd het verscheept, noem maar op.
Als je revisiemonteurs daarover spreekt is het bij allen verschillende, maar 5 of 5,5bar is hartstikke courant. De constructie van de motor is ook niet ineens anders als er een 8 bar ventiel in zit, t.o.v. de 3 bar. De keerringen e.d. blijven hetzelfde.
Los daarvan zou je nog eens kunnen meten met een andere meter, kijk of je die bij het oliefilter ergens tussen kunt aansluiten, zien of er verschil is. Misschien is je meter wel erg enthousiast.
Heb je toevallig ook een olietemperatuurmeter ingebouwd zitten?

OM 615.940 is ventiel type C. Men spreekt in het eerste gedeelte van de tekst van 7 atu. Dat is 7 ÷ 0.9 = 7.8 bar ( 8 ). Verder met 2 verschillende meters gemeten en heb geen olietemparatuur sensor/meter

Zo te lezen zou de OM 615.940 het overdruk ventiel met het ond.nr.: 115 180 0215 moeten hebben die open gaat bij 5 Bar. Dit zou nog gecontroleerd kunnen worden.

Ze hebben allemaal het zelfde ond nr. Het controleren is helaas niet zo gemakkelijk. Omdat de carterpan er dan af moet. Zit weinig ruimte tussen carterpan en bodem van de boot. Dus wil graag eventuele andere opties eerst aflopen

Maar links of rechtsom, ik zou blij zijn met zo'n oliedruk. En hij moet het kunnen hebben, immers tot 8 bar moet hij ook kunnen weerstaan. Niks aan de hand volgens mij.

De eisen aan een scheepsmotor zijn anders dan aan een automotor hiertoe worden veelal automotoren zoals van Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Ford, Peugeot enz. gemariniseerd. Een bedrijf die dat mariniseren al langer doet is b.v. Drinkwaard Motoren in Sliedrecht. Waarschijnlijk kunnen hun wat duidelijker zijn wat betreft de oliedruk.

Drinkwater kwam er ook niet uit

Van de week met een oliedrukmetertester gecheckt
450 toeren =2 bar
1100 toeren =4 bar
2000 toeren =5,8

en hogere toeren? Welke drukken heb je dan?
Warme olie of koud?

Vermelde druk is bij warme motor max is 5.8.
Koude motor begint bij 5.8

Bij koude motor start 5,8 bar.

Daarna als de motor warm is
450 toeren =2 bar
1100 toeren =4 bar
2000 toeren =5,8
