De intro
Het automobiele leven van de Boskabouter behoeft enige ordening. De laatste zes jaar waren immers een chaos. 17 Automobielen werden aangeschaft of verkocht. Mevrouw de Boskabouter heeft allang geen idee meer waarin Meneer de Boskabouter rondrijdt. Zij heeft het zelf al zwaar genoeg met het vinden van haar eigen auto, elke ochtend.

Een logboek is dus op z'n plaats. Een introductie van het gehele wagenpark, daarna zal de aandacht zich richten op De Slak, teneinde (alweer.... ) verbanning te voorkomen.

Gekocht bij Klaas de Poel en daar de Groene Tractor op ingeruild. Gewéldige wagen, zo'n W116 280S. Tot 1 januari 2014 ook nog goedkoop te rijden op LPG. Maar nu even niet.

Pas in 2017 weer.

We kunnen hier gerust spreken van een impulsverkoop. En een impulsaankoop natuurlijk.

Door Toontje aangekocht in de MRB-paniek, eind 2013, toen plotseling niet meer belastingvrije dieselbenzen massaal werden gedropt. Daarna, bij wijze van grap, heeft Toontje deze Groene Slak aangeboden aan de Boskabouter. Exclusief, enkel en alleen aan de Boskabouter. Voor een habbekrats. In de veronderstelling dat de Boskabouter toch niet zou toehappen.

Dat had de Boskabouter nog wel liggen in z'n hebbedingenvarkentje. Daarbij had hij nog steeds heimwee naar de geliefde Groene Tractor.

Dus werd de Boskabouter, slechts op basis van foto's en tekst van Toontje, geheel onverwacht eigenaar van een olijfgroene 200D in de veronderstelling dat het allicht leuk was om even te proberen en daarna, eventueel in onderdelen, weer te verkopen.

Dat was de theorie.....

Nu de praktijk

Deze 200D blijkt gewéldig lekker te rijden. Er is de laatste jaren best veel onderhoud aan verricht, onder andere aan het onderstel. En dat is te merken. Daarnaast moest de Boskabouter erg lang zoeken aleer enige roest werd gevonden. Dat hier en daar wat rafeltjes waren te bespeuren en de geluidsinstallatie door de laatste gebruiker op enigszins lompe manier is verwijderd, mag de pret niet drukken. Inmiddels is er met behulp van forumlid Patman een nieuw muziekje in geknutseld en de rafeltjes laat de Boskabouter voorlopig maar de rafeltjes.

In ieder geval mag De Slak blijven.

Hahaha heerlijk, ik heb m nog zien staan. Dat ding zag er 100x beter uit als m'n coupeetje voor een fractie van de prijs. Bizar.

Weer een groot succes van de Boskabouter.

Toch absurd dat de beste auto's ooit gebouwd niets meer waard zijn... veel mensen zullen later spijt krijgen als hun nieuwe hybride autootjes de geest geven en alleen tegen enorme kosten op de weg te houden zijn.

Ik mis mijn 240D ook steeds meer.
