Het vervolg: taxatie/verzekering, speling stuur en APK. En de antenne rechtbuigen zie ik nu.

Overtollige stikkers even verwijderen van de ruiten, of in elk geval van de kofferklep, en top man!

Hele nette wagen, en zoals we allemaal weten is het gewoon heerlijk om aan zo'n auto te frunniken en helemaal top te maken. Dat is ook een heel groot deel van de hobby, nietwaar?

Meteen naar het stripje gekeken. Zit er op. Glanst. Digitale fotografie is medogenloos. Eén sticker eraf. Vind het leuk om de historie van de auto wel zichtbaar te laten.

Taxatie: de taxateur was onder de indruk van de staat waarin de auto verkeerd. Iets meer dan € 10.000,-. Logisch, er zijn er veel van, net zoals van mijn BMW R26-tje.

APK: Mooi, ik trof mijn oude (gepensioneerd) vertrouwde keurmeester. Die was ook vol lof. En kon niets verkeerds ontdekken. Ik vroeg hem of we samen de speling uit het stuur konden halen. Zijn antwoord: ik moest niet zeuren. Hoort erbij

Nu doe ik niet meer dan af en toe de accu opladen en de auto een beetje heen en weer rollen...

mooi wel een trekhaak eronder doen hoort bij zo'n bens

Op technisch vlak is er niet veel nieuws te melden. De W123 doet het goed en glimt ietsje meer. Maar, begin vorig jaar is de W123 verhuisd van de werkpaardenschuur naar de raspaardenschuur. Hij staat daar nu in het centrum. De tweewielers rondom maakt het niets uit. De W123 is het ook worst. Mooi droog schuurtje baas.

Slechts één echte rit . Pa op tour genomen door Groningen en Drenthe. Pa blij, W123 blij. De carburateur moest hoognodig doorgespoeld worden.

Dit seizoen staat een waxbeurt op programma. Zodat het baasje minder panisch reageert op KNMI-spetters. En meer rijdt met de W123. De wax mag de scheurtjes in de tectyl opvullen.

Toontje: er zijn meer dan genoeg trekhaken hier. En de boer, die zet toch geen trekhaak onder zijn Benz.

Vorig jaar de laatste ritjes met pa gemaakt. Hij genoot er iedere keer van. Totdat ook dat niet meer kon. Nu is hij er niet meer.

De 200 heeft nieuwe olie en filters gekregen. En een nieuwe stuurdemper. Dit jaar is ie nog niet op pad geweest. Er staat een gele voor Maar deze gaat binnenkort ook weer in de benen. Voor een rit met tante.

Verdere plannen: toch een trekhaak!

En gisteren moest-ie werken. Het bootje mocht eindelijk een keer in het water. Achterwielaandrijving en een trailerhelling vormen niet de beste combinatie. Toch trots!

Mooi man,maar rolt jou Benz door de APK met die blauwe platen ?

Zeker niet. Gele liggen in de kofferbak met bijpassend gereedschap. Ik gebruik de auto nu iets regelmatiger, dus denk dat ik de gele er maar op zet. Het voelt zo lullig om voor zoiets aan de kant te worden gezet.
