Pop je de platen eerst vast voordat je ze last? Is ook een manier inderdaad om dze goed sluitend op de plaats te houden. Leuk om te zien hoe iedereen zn manier heeft. Ik kom vaak een hand te kort inderdaad met vasthouden en lassen.

Inmiddels weer verder gegaan aan de auto. Ik had dus een rotte draagarm eronder zitten, dus dat ding eronder vandaan. Nadat ik eerst 1 kant had laten zakken ( subframe los 1 kant) heb ik uiteindelijk de andere kant ook maar gedaan en nu is alles eronder uit. Dit omdat ik schrok van de rottigheid van de linker draagarm, en de veer was gebroken. Van de draag arm aan de binnenkant waar de onderste winding in zit voor 75% weg gerot. gelukkig is de rechter kant prima en niet rot.

Na goed gekeken te hebben naar de hardyschijven en tussenas lager worden deze ook vernieuwd, er zitten scheuren in en het rubber van het lager is ook kapot.
ook komt er een ander diff in want hij lekte te veel olie bij de ingaande as, en deze keerring is niet zelf te vervangen.
Heb nog een diff liggen waarvan ik weet dat die droog was.

Met wat geluk zit die er vandaag onder, inclusief diff en steekassen. Heb ook de handrem schoentjes vernieuwd, dat was wel lastig , maar goed de volgorde aanhouden wat in Haynes staat en goed opletten naar de haakjes van de grote veer.
De oude schoentjes waren helemaal verdroogd en brokkelde gewoon af.E

De Benz staat weer op zijn wielen, alweer 100km gereden , en qua rijden ben ik weer tevreden. 1 maart loopt de apk af dus maandag naar de apk.
14 maanden heeft die binnen gestaan, en alle energie en tijd zit allemaal aan de onderkant dus je ziet er niks van.
In fase 2 ( als die ooit komt ) wordt cosmetisch nog wat gedaan, maar voorlopig niet, effe rustig aan en genieten van de Benzen en het leven...phhhh.

Ik kreeg een compliment van de keurmeester, jouw auto's zijn altijd goed, ook deze ziet er weer perfect uit aan de onderkant.

Nu op het gemakje de leuke pruts dingen doen , roest in de deuren enzo. Ik haal er dan de deur uit en doet er even een andere in en dan op het gemakje opknappen.

Vandaag de ruitensproeier van de achterklep gemaakt. Precies in de knik , in het rubber, was die lek. Heb er een slangetje van de tectyl spuitbus tussen gezet, ging er stroef in dus is wel waterdicht . Het vervelendste is nog wel het harde plastic terug te plaatsen aan het eind van de hemel.

Maar met een bandenlichter voor fietsbanden lukt het prima.

Ook binnenkort gaat de voorruit eruit , heb zwaar het vermoeden dat de lekkage van regen hierdoor naar binnenkomt.
Het druppelt redelijk door ,links onderin, en valt precies op mijn parkeerrem. Heb natuurlijk niet voor niks een halve bodem gelast, dus oplossen.
