ik ben zondag jl met de 300D naar zeeland gereden en wat mij opviel tijdens de rit is dat hij niet lekker meeveert
met bijv een hobbelige weg
de 200D en de W114 coupe rijden wel wat comfortabeler en veren beter mee op de weg

ik lees dat sommige wel eens de subframe rubbers hebben vervangen
achteras weliswaar

heeft dat veel invloed op het rijcomfort?

de vering en de schokbrekers zijn wel ok hoor

het zou ook de stoel kunnen zijn natuurlijk maar dat is een ander verhaal..
het gaat meer om de subframerubbers achter, die van mij kunnen wel vervangen worden evt

voor de rest rijdt hij prima , de 300D
55 euro diesel getankt voor 530 km

subframe rubbers vervangen is op een brug en het juiste gereedschap wel te doen.
de auto gaat er steviger door rijden.
maar het is een combinatie van factoren.
slechte schokbrekers of slappe veren en de stoelzitting niet vergeten een stevige zitting is ook van belang.

Zijn de stoelen ook niet anders. 1977 is serie1, 1979 is toch serie2.
En ne 300D heeft natuurlijk zwaardere veren op de vooras dan ne 200D
Heeft allemaal invloed op het comfort

ik heb er alvast eentje uitgehaald
ging opvallend makkelijk

hij viel er letterlijk uit

nu de nieuwe erin

Dat was zeker hard nodig! Merkte je niet dat je op een willekeurige weghelft terecht kwam na het nemen van een bocht?

ik was vanochtend begonnen met alvast 1 kant
hij ging er goed in maar de lange bout ging dus niet
alle foefjes geprobeerd, o.a potkrikje met een soort u-profiel..met de bout er een stukje in
de druk moet aan de zijkant..

ten einde raad maar weer die oude gebruikt . kan ik in ieder geval rijden
de rubbers zijn van Febi..is er verschil met bijv Meyle?

Mijn rubbers zitten nog in de verpakking. Meyle.

Ik hoorde het volgende :

Eerst tapeind erin, rubber er over heen, dan een paar ringen, het rubber in banden vet zetten.
De boel aandraaien, dan tapeind eruit, bout er in.

zoiets werkt ook,
als het echt niet lukt maak ik het ook

Hoi Frankie,

Ik heb het laatst nog bij de W126 gedaan, het viel erg mee.
Met een stukje hout en een dop van de goede grootte kom je een heel eind.

Het klopt dat de bout er soms erg moeilijk ingaat, staat me ook bij dat ik daar wel ooit problemen mee had. De bout van de W126 had een spitse punt, dat is bij de W115 toch ook dacht ik?

Ik heb de nieuwe rubber er met de oude ingedrukt, dan kun je op de rand drukken.

de schroef gaat er in maar pakt de schroefdraad niet als de arm hoog staat

ik durf de schroef niet te meppen..of mag ik hem wel een tik geven?
