Hallo allemaal

Mijn naam is John Rooth en woon in Zuidwolde DR
Sinds begin juni 2005 in het bezit van de Benz en was een beetje aan het zoeken naar een Club en die was snel gevonden.
De Nickname Johndewinger is jaren geleden ontstaan omdat ik ook in het bezit ben van een Honda Goldwing (1500 6/cyl)
In de begin jaren 70 ook al een Mercedes 200D gehad van het vleugeltype en in de 80er jaren nog eens een 230 van begin 70
De liefde voor de Benz is nooit weggeweest en nu na lang zoeken heb ik er nu weer een gekocht.
De coupé is door de vorige eigenaar geheel uitelkaar gehaald en waar zonodig alles weer gerepareerd en heeft veel onderdelen en plaatwerk vernieuwd (dit alles met foto reportage)
De vorige eigenaar is een NSU liefhebber en had een door hem geheel gerestaureerde NSU Prins op een meeting staan waar de Benz eigenaar de NSU van hem kocht wat helemaal niet de bedoeling was maar ja voor een vors bedrag toe doe je wat.
Hij heeft er ongeveer een jaar over gedaan om de coupé op te knappen met de bedoeling om hem weer te verkopen want er moet wel weer een NSU komen zo vertelde hij mij.

Vandaar dat mijn beslissing snel was genomen om deze coupé te kopen.

Ik hoop hier op deze club met plezier rond te neuzen en waar zo nodig wat te vragen en te reageren.

De oude garde kent me wel van diverse clubs maar ik heb nu een echte Oldtimer

Mijn naam is John en kom uit Zuidwolde dr.
Op dit moment rij ik al bijna 3 jaar in een W124 260E voor het woon/werk verkeer en voor de fun heb ik er een mooie W110 230/6 Heckflosse bijgekocht.

Kleur van de Heckflosse is prachtig, en de W124 zie er ook verzorgd uit, lijkt me fijn, zo'n 260.

Mooi aanvulling John, ik heb er al in mogen zitten. Dan ervaar je het echte oldtimer gevoel.

Mooie foto's van je nieuwe Heckflosse, ik had er laatst al een paar foto's van gezien.

Een lang gekoesterde wens die in vervulling is gegaan, heel veel plezier er mee.

ook welkom hier. Mooie originele Heckflosse, had hem natuurlijk al wel gezien op het Heckflosseforum!

Ik zie een leuke St. Christoffel in je Heckflosse, Leuk. Ik had er ook een in mijn 450SE, heeft altijd goed gewerkt
Zal er ook weer eens eentje zoeken voor in mijn Heckflosse.

Een stel mooie auto's zeg!

Die 260E brengt mooie ervaringen bij me naar boven. Ik heb er midden jaren 90 duizenden kilometers kris-kras mee over de Deutsche Autobahnen van noord naar zuid en oost naar west gecruised. Man, wat voelde hij zich daar thuis

En die heckflosse... Prachtig.

Welkom. Prachtige auto's, zeg! De kleur van de W110 is werkelijk top. Zo'n W124 260E was mijn eerste Benz. Ik twijfel nog of ik de W210 ga vervangen voor een W124 of W126.

blijft toch dromen zo een mooie wagen!

John je hebt ook nog een oud radiootje erin zitten, doet ie het nog?
Die van mij wel, maar ik heb alleen lange en Middengolf (geen KW laat staan UKW of FM).
Jammer dat radio 10 Gold laatst is gestopt op de MW.... heb de laatste uitzending nog ontvangen

Vroeger maakten ze nog spullen, dat zoiets na bijna 50 jaar nog werkt!
