Ik heb een 240D. hij loopt niet lekker, hij doet het een aantal km prima en dan geeft hij minder vermogen waarna hij uitvalt. Ik heb gekeken naar de dieseltoevoer en het doorzichtige filter was deels verstopt. Deze heb ik vervangen, hierna gaf hij nog steeds hetzelfde probleem. Het grote filter wat daarna komt is zo te zien kort geleden vervangen. Ook is te zien dat de brandstofleiding niet helemaal vol zit, het filter komt vaag "leeg" te staan. De motor zal dan geen diesel meer krijgen.

Heeft iemand een idee wat de oorzaak kan zijn?

dat zou dus verklaren dat er geen brandstof aangezogen kan worden? Zou het ook de pomp kunnen zijn? Wat ik was vergeten te melden: de problemen starten na een km of 100 gereden te hebben en ik hem wat harder heb gereden (140) en de tank begon toen ook leger te raken (1/4)

kijk uit met perslucht en diesel
je weet door lucht te persen en diesel er aan toe te voegen krijg je een explosie

Als je de leidingen eerst goed heet stookt en er vervolgens een bar of 20 opzet kun je het misschien wel voor elkaar krijgen de auto op te blazen.
Voorwaarde is dan natuurlijk wel dat de diesel mooi vernevelt, maar dat zal het probleem wel niet zijn lijkt me.

Ik heb momenteel een gelijkaardig probleem dat deze week (woensdag 1ste keer en vandaag 2 keer) voorgevallen is.

Het vermogen valt weg, zelfs bij gas geven is het net of mijn diesel verzuipt en gewoon stilvalt.

Paar keer demarreren brengt geen soelaas: motor draait paar toeren en valt terug stil of draait als het ware "vierkant" en de hele auto schudt.

Na een kwartiertje blijven proberen schiet hij er opeens door en kan je terug in toeren gaan en is het probleem van de baan. Lijkt mij vuil te zijn.

auto is dan ook al 34 jaartjes jong en en is de laatste jaren zéér weinig mee gereden: zou het kunnen dat diesel ook zijn beste tijd heeft gehad na een tijd in de tank gezeten te hebben ?

Vaak zal na lang stilstaan een microbe gaan groeien in de dieseltank, die verstopt vervolgens het tankfilter. Daar zijn wel meerdere topics over. Schepen die een winter niet varen hebben hetzelfde probleem.

Een dieselmotor kan niet verzuipen.

Dat de motor na een kwartier weer wel rijdt, wijst op een verstopt tankfilter. In jouw geval zou ik de tank eruit halen, goed schoonmaken en weer vullen met schone diesel.

Diesel heeft minder de neiging om uit elkaar te vallen, maar als de brandstof heel oud is, dan kan er wellicht wat gebeuren. Hoe oud is de diesel in de tank?

Als ik de filter verander, ben ik dan niet best van meteen eens na te kijken of de vlotter ook niet vol smurrie hangt ?

De vlotter kun je ook heel eenvoudig er even uithalen. Via de hoedenplank. Ehbo doosje eruit halen en je kan er zo bij.
Dop/sleutel 46 of waterpomptang. kijk uit voor het afdichtingsrubber dat die niet in je tank valt.

Wees ook heel voorzichtig met de vlotter uit elkaar halen. er zitten drie draadjes die snel breken. ( als het even kan, laat maar in elkaar. )

Het mooiste is de tank er uit halen, leidingen even dicht maken, tank dop erop en spoelen/lekker schudden met schone diesel, en dan weer leeg laten lopen, herhalen. Je zal zien dat er nog meer smurrie/drap uit komt.

Oja, ze zeggen dat het hobby is.

Ik stel dan voor om het volgende te doen:

Auto op brug, filter in de tank uithalen zodat hij volledig leeg kan lopen.

Daarna mazouttank uithalen (is dit veel werk - veel schroeven te lossen ?)

Mazouttank uitkuisen en dan terugplaatsen.

Ik denk dat ik dan best ook alle afdichtingen verander, alsook de leiding tot aan motor en daar ook de filter vervang ?

Voor een Sedan of Coupe zit de tank met 4 bouten, vanuit je kofferbak. Wel eerst het filter en de brandstofslang eruit halen, want die blijft anders een beetje haken aan de bodem van je auto. Inderdaad verstandig om een nieuwe O ring te plaatsen van het tankfilter. Meestal zijn die plat geworden na 30 jaar. De brandstof slang die je in het filter draai zal je bij een Dealer of MB specialist moeten bestellen ( indien nodig)

Ik zelf heb een tank genomen van een benzine, zie topic, die zijn lekker schoon van binnen. Filter omgezet en hobbelen maar. Brandstof meter werkt nu prima, strak en geen gekke bewegingen.

Inderdaad eerst aanvoer, retour en ontluchting slangen eraf halen en beter deze ook gelijk vervangen. Let hierbij op dat een van de 3 een diameter heeft (geloof 8 voor aanvoer en ontluchting en 10 voor retour, maar dat staat wel ergens op het forum...
Dan het schot in de kofferbak verwijderen en de tank losmaken en er uit halen, is makkelijker met 2 personen maar kan vast ook alleen

Tankfilter kostte mij nogal wat moeite, zat behoorlijk vast, maar uiteindelijk wel gelukt. Paar keer spoelen met diesel was ook geen overbodige luxe, wat een smurrie kwam eruit.
Tankfilter is makkelijk opnieuw te gebruiken. Ik heb hem schoongemaakt in een jampotje met diesel en een tandenborstel (Niet meer te gebruiken na de tijd natuurlijk )

Hoy,

Vanavond is het eindelijk zover en heb ik eindelijk de tijd (en een brug) om mijn brandstoftankfilter te vervangen.

Ik ga zowel de brandstoftankfilter als de voorfilter vervangen maar had nog een vraagje:

Welke leiding zou ik dan ook best eens doorblazen ?

- de effectieve brandstofleiding ? deze lijkt mij logisch gezien dan ook dezelfde die aansluit op de voorfilter ?

Moet de retourleiding ook doorgeblazen worden ?

Ook: als alles gedaan is: best even mazout oppompen zeker tot voorfilter met mazout gevuld is ?
