Dag iedereen,

Het is zover.... als leek begin ik mijn auto zelf te onderhouden. Joepie ... een heerlijke bezigheid!
Olie verversen, bougies vervangen, kleppendekselpakking... het lukt allemaal

Lijkt misschien grappig voor jullie maar voor een leek als ik is dit een echte overwinning.

Vraagje:

Maar waar zit de benzinefilter???? (bij de 230 carburateur)
Er zijn er 2.

Klopt het eentje onderaan de auto achter, voorzien van een grote imbusmoer? (loopt de benzine er dan uit????)
En waar zit die tweede?

Normaal zit er één in de carburator zelf waar de benzineleiding ingaat. In de tank is niet zeker, in mijn geval niet.
Ik heb er eentje tussen de pomp en de tank gestoken om vuil uit de tank richting pomp te vermijden.

Ik denk dat die grote imbusmoer is om je tank leeg te laten lopen, dus daar moet je niet zijn.

meestal zit er onder de motorkap , dicht bij de carburateur een wisselbaar standaard benzine filter tussen de rubberen benzineslang. Zo'n ding kost 2 of 3 euro. Die kun je eenvoudig zelf doen, beetje benzine kan er gelekt worden vanuit de carburateur. En als het filter lekker hoog zit ten opzicht van je tank dan loopt er niks uit je tank. Rij in ieder geval je tank leeg om op save te spelen. :clap:

De carburateur is de stromberg 175 cd. -> geen benzinefilter in de carburateur??
De universele benzinefilter kan ik gewoon zo vervangen?

Is dit niet van het onderdruksysteem dat naar je rembekrachtiger gaan, een soort van terugslagklepje.
Is zeker geen benzine filter

Toch heb ik altijd begrepen dat het filter IN de tank zit, idus onder die enorme inbus. Ik heb ook al een losse filter gekocht als vervanging. ik wil 'm tzt uit de tank hebben en plaatsen in de motorruimte zodat het filter in de tank kan vervallen.

Ik ben nog even de archieven ingegaan ; het filter zit in de tank, en Wiebren (ut Snits), gaf daar een mooi uitleg bij ;

Zowel bij benzine als diesel zit er een filter in de tank zelf. Maak grote schroef los en je ziet hem meteen verschijnen

In de tank zit bij de M115-motor een zeef, maar die hoeft normaliter niet vervangen te worden, vervanging maakt geen deel uit van het onderhoudsprogramma. Na 37 jaar kan het geen kwaad eens te kijken of de zeef nog goed is en niet verstopt, maar eigenlijk hoef je alleen bij problemen de zeef te controleren.

De tank zo leeg mogelijk rijden, de rest met een pompje uit de tank pompen in een jerrycan en daarna moet je de tank nog verder leeg laten lopen aan de onderkant. Zorg dat je een brandblusser of branddeken paraat hebt, bij voorkeur is er een assistent in de buurt om te helpen in geval van brand. Uiteraard niets gebruiken dat vonken kan trekken (zoals een mobiele telefoon). Je kan deze operatie ook gebruiken om de rubberen brandstofslangen bij de tank te vervangen.

Je mag zo'n filter er wel tussenzetten, maar MB heeft dat niet gedaan bij de M115-motor (type 230).

Er zit in de brandstofpomp nog wel een filter, maar dat is van een ander type. Onderdeelnummer A0000900251. Het zit onder de deksel van de pomp, maar dat is ook geen onderhoudsonderdeel, maar een zeef die alleen bij problemen vervangen moet worden.

Vandaag de dag van de waarheid.

De filter zit inderdaad in de tank! Een zeefje dat je zo kan reinigen.
Ook blijkt het de moeite om de vlotter in de tank eens te reinigen (lost soms het probleem op van een springende brandstofmeternaald)en is toegankelijk onder het ehbo-kistje.
