Op verzoek geplaatst

heb ook de zelfde probleem. Ik heb hem dacht ik bij artaparts besteld voor iets van 60 euro. Alleen moet hij er nog in gelast worden. Iemand omgeving Amsterdam?

dat zijn aardige projekten zo'n achterplaat inlassen daar ga je van schrikken
als het niet perse hoeft dan zo'n plaat kopen en de stukken die je nodig hebt eruitslijpen en van die nieuwe plaat gebruiken om te repareren

Ik heb onlangs het achterpaneel van mijn W123 vervangen. Ik heb hier wel voor orgineel plaatwerk gekozen daar dat altijd perfect past. Met een immitatie is dat altijd maar de vraag. Het is wel veel werk. Bumper eraf, achterlichten eruit, eventuele trekhaak demonteren en alle draden naar binnen binden. De kofferdeksel demonteren, dan kun je er goed bij. Het rubber eruit. Het achterpaneel is geheel gepuntlast. Links en rechts boven het achterlicht en aan de achterzijde is het een soort rechthoek. Alle puntlassen moeten vakkundig en met beleid worden weggeslepen. Ook restdeeltjes e.d. van de "oude" plaat dienen allemaal glad te zijn. In de bovenhoeken aan de binnenzijde zitten twee beugels met daaraan ook elk twee puntlassen. Deze zijn het moeilijks te bereiken met de slijptol.

Wanneer het paneel is verwijderd kan het nieuwe paneel worden geplaatst. Vastzetten met zoveel mogelijk griptangen. Dan aftekenen waar de nieuwe puntlassen op het nieuwe paneel komen. Het paneel weer demonteren en gaten boren in het nieuwe paneel, daar waar is afgetekend.

Het paneel kan nu worden goed gezet met griptangen. Monteer de kofferdeksel netjes, met links, rechts en achter de juiste afstand. Met de kofferdeksel dicht kan het paneel precies recht worden gezet. Alle gaten netjes puntlassen en daarna afslijpen. Voila! Klaar.
