Frank,

onderbouw zoals bij jou lijkt me de beste oplossing. Bij welk bedrijf heb je die laten inbouwen?
Enne, wat kostte dat?
Ik wil volgend jaar ook overstappen op LPG maar niet mijn laadruimte inleveren.

Ten aanzien van jouw probleem met de hoogte van de achterkant; die is simpel wat hoger af te stellen, maar het lijkt me eerder dat de demping niet helemaal in orde is op basisi van de beschrijving.

Ik heb net met Carbalt in Amsterdam gebeld en die raden mij de ringtank en een onderbouw af.Een verticale ringtank omdat er toch veel problemen met het vulmechanisme zou zijn.
Een cilinder van 55ltr aan de rechterkant zou volgens hun de beste en goedkoopste oplossing zijn er moet dan wel een kleine uitsparing gemaakt worden in de zijkant van stoffenafdekklep.
Dit alles inclusief flashlube voor nog geen 1250.-

ik ben erg tevreden over m'n verticale ringtank in m'n 230TE. Je ziet er helemaal niks van (kap gaat er helemaal overheen in de originele sluiting) en de kofferruimte blijft volledig beschikbaar. Met de beperkte actieradius (+/- 260 km) kan ik goed leven: Ik rij de tank vaak helemaal leeg en ga dan op benzine naar het tankstation.Die cilinders achterin lijken me erg onpraktisch en ik vind het eerlijk gezegd geen gezicht.

nee, die cylinders zo vind ik (pers.mening ieder moet het zelf weten) ook niks. is meer van; ik ben erg zuinig of wil wel, kan niet. zonde van je T.

Agaven zou je misschien wat foto's kunnen plaatsen van je installatie ?
Vooral ben ik benieuwd naar de wiel kap die er over heen gaat bij de meeste zie je,
toch wel dat het niet mooi sluit.
Ook zou ik graag wat meer info willen hebben over het inbouw bedrijf.

komende 2 weken heb ik geen mogelijkeheid een foto te maken, maar ik kan je verzekeren dat de kap er echt helemaal overheen gaat: beneden duw ik de pinnetjes in de gaatjes en boven druk ik de kap in de sluiting. De tank is 46l. meen ik (een tank (80% vol) is 37/38 l.
Ik heb het e.e.a. laten inbouwen bij van Orsouw (Eindhoven), zij hebben veel ervaring met diverse oudere mercedessen. Ze bouwen standaard een lpg-startsysteem in (alleen als je injectoren heel goed zijn overwegen ze een benzine-startsysteem). Ze bouwen ook een zgn. backfirebeveiliging in (plunjer op gasdruk van de verdamper die de luchtwegerklep een stukje openduwt. Dit beperkt de schade bij een eventuele backfire maar zorgt ook voor een betere doorstroming bij het starten op LPG. Dat gaat prima, zelfs bij -10 kun je probleemloos op gas starten.
Sommigen (o.a. Mandigers en nog enkelen die ik destijds gebeld heb) bouwen geen verticale ringtanks in zeggen ze. Volgens hen geeft dat teveel problemen, volgens van Orsouw hebben ze geen zin in het extra werk dat het met zich meebrengt. Bij mij functioneert het i.e.g. prima. Tanken gaat wellicht niet supersnel (kleinere vulopening), maar dat is echt geen probleem. Onderbouw is misschien nog mooier, maar ook aanzienlijk veel duurder en je bent beperkt in het aantal adressen.

Hoi

Ik heb een 280TE met een LPG ringtank eronder. Ik heb dat laten doen bij garage Meereboer in Alkmaar.

Het inbouwen en onderbouwen is heel erg netjes gebeurd, Je ziet er niks van. Omdat mijn auto vers geimporteerd en nauwelijks rijklaar was heeft garage Meereboer alkmaar ook dat tot in de puntjes verzorgt. De niveauregeling is aangepast, die bollen zijn nu een balk die in de auto onder de plank zit. Het werkt allemaal uitstekend, geen drempelvrees.
