Toen inspecteerde ik de luchtfilter. Deze is vrij vies. Maar goed. Bij nader kijken bleek de Nokkenas motor ventilatie slang gewoon los in een zelfgemaakt gat van het filter te zijn gestoken.
Het leuke is dat er gewoon valse lucht langs die slang kan zonder door het filter te gaan ......

Waar vind ik een fatsoenlijk filter voor die plek ?

Ik denk dat AirAttack niet meer bestaat.

Zit nu te kijken naar konische K&N filters.
Waarschijnlijk zul je altijd zelf een aansluiting, gat, voor motorventilatie dienen te maken.

Of een tweede filter, maar dat verstoord waarschijnlijk vacuum.....

Als je even googled zijn er sites genoeg waar je sportluchtfilters kan kopen, in alle maten en gewichten. Voor je carterontluchting kan je een oil catch tankje monteren. Dit filtert de olie uit de carterlucht. Anders zal je nieuwe luchtfilter binnen de kortste keren weer zo uitzien.

Ik zou ook die luchtinlaat arm van je Impco eens goed nakijken of die nergens valse lucht trekt, anders dichtingen vervangen van dat spul.

Probleem opgelost!

Even domme vraag

-Hoezo komt er olie uit als de lucht ingezogen wordt ???

Oliedeeltjes zijn zwaarder dan lucht, dus zal er altijd wat achterblijven in je filter. Ik zou dat echt niet doen. Je hebt al een catch tank voor zo'n 25 euro, misschien zelfs minder.

Ik bedoel,
ik dacht dat die slang naar nokkenas en kleppendeksel lucht zuigt, zoals ik het hier lees door jou blaast hij lucht, met olieresidu ?????

Als hij blaast dan snap ik de olie, maar dan snap ik niet waar die lucht oorspronkelijk vandaan komt. En waarom wordt hij teruggeleid naar lucht inlaat ? Om die te verwarmen ?

OK ik zie nu in plaatjes idd dat de lucht uit klepdeksel waar ook een vaccuum slangetje aanhangt (? (waartoe dient dat, wat meet het )) teruggeleid wordt naar de het luchtfilterhuis.

Loopt normaal daar de olie dat uit ?


Ik ga gewoon klein olie opvangding regelen met luchtfiltertje en een andere luchtfilter.

Rest nog een vraag, hoe komt de lucht in de motor ???? Via een vent jet ? ???? Waar zit die ? Pakt die gewoon ongefilterde lucht van buiten ???????

OK wat mij verbaast ??? In Haynes boek lijkt het of er zowel lucht aangezogen wordt als uit geblazen wordt door die slang naar luchtfilter(huis). Moet ik het zien dat hij initieel iets zuigt en wanneer motor draait en lucht geblazen wordt ?
