280TE / M110 - pijp van het luchtfilterhuis los ?

Ik wil het luchtfilterhuis opnieuw spuiten en zag dat het materiaal in de aanzuigpijp begint te verpulveren, ik wil dat verwijderen en mogelijk vervangen. Is de ring aan de voorkant van de pijp los te maken ? Ik kan ook de twee popnagels aan het huis uitboren en vervangen, maar misschien is er een makkelijkere manier ?
