Sinds mijn eerste ritje met rijbewijs op de rondweg van Parijs in een goudkleurige W116 380SE ben ik lichtelijk verzot op (oude) Benzen. Niet lang na deze vuurdoop schafte ik mijn eerste wagen aan. Een witte met roestbruine 1978 200D automaat. De rest van de jeugd was altijd hun Golfjes en Astratjes aan het pimpen, ik tankte bij de Aldi en boemelde er heel Europa mee door.
Uiteindelijk heb ik diverse W126ers, een prachtige W108 en daarna moderner spul gereden, op een paar uitstapjes naar BMW en Volvo na kom je toch altijd weer terug bij Mercedes.
Op het andere MB forum had ik het ook al even geplaatst, hier is volgens mij net wat meer oldtimer kennis aanwezig, vandaar mijn aanmelding.
Onlangs heb ik voor in de zomer een S123 240TD hier in de buurt gekocht om op te knappen, waar ik jullie hulp misschien wel bij kan gebruiken. Sleutelen mag ik graag thuis zelf doen en onder de noemer van proberen kun je leren pak ik het graag aan. De APK van de 240TD was in 1997 verlopen, dus het spulletje zat behoorlijk vast, maar inmiddels heb ik net mijn eerste rondje door de buurt kunnen rijden.
Er is nog veel aan te doen, maar gelukkig is het allemaal hobby!

Inmiddels al wat onderdelen bijelkaar gesprokkeld en de remmerij en koppeling aansturing vervangen.
Tevens de lekke hydro leidimg gedicht zodat ze weer mooi omhoog staat. Al met al viel een blokkie om me niet tegen!
Inmiddels binnen
- bumper voor
- grill
- wieldoppen
- kofferklep

Vandag bij Eppens de zaag gezet in ern 230C voor de linker hoek. Tevens het redelijke originele scherm overgenomen.
Nu wordt het tijd om naar voorbeeld van Breedde boel weer inelkaar te bakken.
