Kleppen laten stellen: minder vermogen!

Specifieke zaken omtrent het rijden op diesel kunnen hier geplaatst worden zodat we alle zaken omtrent diesel hier verzameld hebben staan.

Van mijn 300TDT met 330.000 km zijn de kleppen gesteld.

Het lijkt erop dat dit ertoe heeft geleid dat de auto veel minder trekktracht heeft en dat hij slecht start.

Kan dit? Doordat de kleppen zijn gedraaid? Ze stonden veel te strak volgens de monteur.

Hallo Dervis

ja dat kan maar om dan de moter weer aan de loop te krijgen kost wel moiete even kompressie meeten en je weet gelijk hoe laat het is.

en als er te weinig kompressie is kun je proberen om de kleppen weer in de juiste stand te krijgen waar ze stonden

Wat kan gebeuren is dat men de kleppen verdraaid tijdens het klepstellen.
Dan is opeens de kompressie veel minder en start de auto ook niet goed meer..of wil helemaal niet starten.

Dit komt dan "opeens" na het klappen stellen.

Het is bij het kleppen stellen zaak de kleppen zelf niet te verdraaien. Lees ook op het forum erover er is al eerder over geschreven,
ik zal het zoeken en hieronder plakken/editen als ik het vind.

Als de klepveerschotels niet worden vastgehouden tijdens het stellen, dan kan je dit krijgen. Zie ook .

Of de monteur heeft ze heel erg ruim gezet. Voor een turbo geldt 0,10 inlaat en 0,35 uitlaat (bij koude motor).

Klep en zitting zijn op elkaar ingeslepen en door de jaren ingeslagen.

Als je de klep t.o.v. de zitting verdraaid kan het zijn dat hij niet lekker meer sluit met het gevolg dat je compressieverlies hebt.

Ik had je verhaal nog niet gelezen Boy.

Alleen het gereviseerde carter en dan de oude kop er op??...
En dan verkopen: Volledig gereviseerd..

Heb zelf eens een 2-takt diesel gereviseerd met mijn vader. Was niets meer van verkrijgbaar. Anderen nemen dan genoegen met het samenstellen van zo'n blok met de beste onderdelen van 2 motoren enzo.

Dat levert nooit een echt goed lopende motor op.

Ik heb toen gezocht naar een 'modern' motorblok met nagenoeg dezelfde boring. Die zuigerveren besteld en de groeven in de zuigers daarop aangepast op de draaibank.
De lagerkappen van de hoofdlagers waren ook te ruim geworden. Die hebben we toen met Babbits in gesoldeerd en in het blok gemonteerd. Met een hulpstuk wat ik toen gedraaid heb ook in het blok gemonteerd en vervolgens 1 voor 1 de ingesoldeerde kappen weer uitgedraaid.

Je moet iets als er niks meer is.

Je had het over klepzittingen frezen. Bedoel je daar hetzelfde mee als slijpen? Ik doe slijppasta aan de klep en de zitting en dan met een zuignapje de klep in de zitting draaien en slijpen.
