Met het koude weer heeft mijn W123 m102 motor last van stotteren bij het optrekken, is dit normaal met het koude weer of is de afsatelling (choke) niet optimaal.

Als ie warm is heeft die geen last van.

Beste Bennie, dat stotteren is niet normaal. Misschien de bougiekabels eens inspuiten met siliconen-spray tegen vocht(condens).
Hier is de laatste weken al veel over geschreven !! FF zoeken...
Zijn de kabels al eens vervangen door een mooie nieuwe set van b.v. Bosch.

Zou het kunnen komen doordat de bougie kabels gesamelijk in het gootje zitten in de kleppendeksel.

Motor start perfect en snel zonder gas te geven zelfs toen het vroor.

De juiste afstelling voor de electrode van je bougie's
is 0,6 mm check dat eens met een voelmaatje.
Dit is voor LPG auto's.

dat inhouden als je wat meer gas geeft herken ik. Het ligt aan de onsteking. Goede bougies, goede kabels etc zijn zeer belangrijk.
Ik heb de kabels (nieuw Beru) uit het gootje gehaald en in pvc leiding verpakt zodat ze elkaar of de massa nergens raken. Natuurlijk zitten ze origineel wel tegen elkaar in dat gootje, maar origineel is de motor ook niet voor LPG gedacht.

Dat is niet eens zo gek dat het door de bougies zou kunnen zijn. Heb nieuwe bougies erin gezet aridium NGK BKR6EIX en sindsdien heeft ie het.
Electrode afstand had ik al op o.6 gezet.

Morgen de oude bougies erin zetten en afwachten maar.

Aha, deze NGK bougies hebben een ingebouwde weerstand! (de R in de benaming) Dat is niet goed want bij de m102 zit ontstoorweerstand al in de bougiedoppen) Als je iridium wilt proberen, wat mij op zich niet zo'n gek idee lijkt, zou je die van Denso (IT20 of IT22 dacht ik) moeten proberen, die hebben geen weerstand.

Ben benieuwd naar je bevindingen.

zo'n weerstand is nodig om te ontstoren. Weet er het fijne niet van, maar zonder weerstand interfereert de ontsteking met ander elektronica aan boord. In m'n 2cv kon ik op die manier als ik de radio goed afstelde naar een soort akoestische toerenteller luisteren.

De ontstoring zit al in de bougie-doppen. Door bougies met een weerstand te monteren krijg wel een heel klein vonkje, niet doen dus.

Het ontstekingssysteem van onze Mercedessen is op zich probleemloos en onderhoudsvrij.
Het zou dus niet tot een probleem moeten leiden, ware het niet dat het erg gevoelig is voor weerstand. Zolang componenten origineel en op elkaar afgestemd zijn is er dan ook weinig aan de hand. Het gaat voornamelijk mis als men (soms) met de beste bedoelingen probeert zaken te verbeteren, of goedkopere delen te monteren omdat het ogenschijnlijk toch niets uitmaakt. Zo hoeft een Mercedes niet ontstoord te worden, de originele delen zijn kwalitatief zo goed dat extra inspanningen overbodig. Bij een auto die vanaf fabriek met een radio is uitgerust zie je die ingrepen ook niet. Daarnaast zit de antenne bij de benzine-uitvoeringen achterop ver verwijderd van de e.v. storingsbronnen.

Zo vanmorgen de oude bougies BP6ef S gemonteerd en de onsteking op gevoel afgesteld en het is weg, kan nu rustig wegrijden zonder dat hinderlijke gestotter, rijdt ook veel fijner en heeft meer kracht van onderuit.

Mooi Bennie. Hoe ben je er toe gekomen NGK BKR6EI bougies toe te passen. Zelf verzonnen, of op basis van advies van een vakman?

Conclusie die hier getrokken wordt (het werkt goed met standaard spul)heb ik al vaker gelezen in een LPG-ontstekingstopic. Dankzij Agaaf weten we nu ook waarom.
