Mijn 280E uit '76 rijd alleen op LPG. ik heb hem pas gekocht en toen startte en reed die prima op LPG.
na een paar dagen begon hij zeer moeilijk te starten en liep uiteindelijk slecht stationair.
het leek erop dat bij het starten (en dan vooral met een koude motor) niet alle cilinders meeliepen.
vandaag na wat onderzoek de rotor en verdelerkap en bougies vervangen. binnenkort ook nog de bougiekabels. ik hoop dat het euvel dan over is.. Daarna wil ik hem nog naar een goed gasbedrijf brengen om goed te laten afstellen.
nog steeds wil de auto echter met een koude motor erg slecht starten..

ik heb in andere topics gelezen dat de bougies op 0.6mm moesten staan dus hier heb ik ze op gesteld alle 6.

iemand een goed adresje voor bougiekabels? bij de plaatselijke autospeciaalzaak kosten ze 112 excl btw maar volgens mij kan dat wel goedkoper..<br><br>Post edited by: vincentmdr, at: 2010/09/18 18:49

Je kan even op marktplaats kijken.
Daar staan genoeg bedrijven op die ze verkopen.
Op je verdamper zitten twee stelschoeven een kleine aan de boven kant en een grotere aan de onderkant.die grote als je die uitdraaid gaat je stationair weer omhoog .

Hallo Vincent,

Mijn w123-250 startte ook niet altijd even geweldig, maar ik heb ondertussen de 4 seconden truc toegepast en dat kan jou misschien ook wel helpen. Deze bestaat eruit om je sleutel om te draaien tot in de "contact + motor aan" stand, gaspedaal volledig in te drukken en dan 4 seconden te wachten. Vervolgens de sleutel omdraaien en waarschijnlijk zal je motor al een stuk makkelijker starten. Je kunt dit eventueel 2x doen, dus 4 sec, 4 sec contact af, weer 4 sec => vroem!

Dit werkt omdat tijdens de 4 seconden het systeem wat "startgas" geeft, daardoor start de motor gemakkelijker. Je kunt het maar eens proberen!

Je moet bij het begin beginnen.

Waarom loopt je motor niet op benzine?

Het beste is om eerst te zorgen dat hij goed op benzine

Heb je de klepspeling gecontroleerd? Belangrijk bij een gasauto

Klopt Henk, bij mij was het ook de klepspeling, stonden te strak.
Na opnieuw stellen (iets ruimer nog ivm hitte) alle problemen verholpen.
Heb ook NGK bougies gemonteerd, speciaal voor gas.

probleem vastgesteld. het is inderdaad mijn luchtweger :( auto staat nu bij de garage, die gaan vandaag eerst een check doen van de hele auto en maken aan de hand daarvan een lijst met zaken die gedaan moeten worden.
ben benieuwd.. iemand een idee wat het moet kosten om een luchtweger te laten vervangen? Tevens moeten mijn kleppen gesteld worden.

Bij mij is bij een flinke backfire ook mijn luchtmassameter krom getrokken. Een nieuwe kost bij de dealer rond de €55,- Best wel veel voor een aluminium schijfje. Ik heb de luchtmassameter er dus uit gehaald en tussen twee houten plankjes weer plat geslagen met een hamer en een werkbank. Dat werkte wel. Uiteindelijk moet die schijf wel helemaal vlak zijn, dus als je hierna nog problemen blijft houden is een gang naar de sloop of eventueel een nieuwe kopen de enige remedie. Overigens zijn er ook geperforeerde luchtmassameters te koop die met een rubberen schijf afgedicht worden. Bij druk van boven (normale situatie) sluit deze goed af. Bij druk van onderen (bijv backfire) laat de rubberen schijf de druk gewoon weg. Daarmee zou het kromtrekken definitief tot het verleden moeten behoren.

Hallo allen, ik dacht dat deze draad wel van toepassing is op mijn probleem:
Na een backfire wil mijn m110 niet meer stationair op gas lopen, ik moet 'm aan de praat houden met het gaspedaal.
Ik heb de kromme luchtweeg schijf eruit gehaald want die ga ik vervangen door een nieuwe met backfireprotectie.
Dit mag toch niet uitmaken voor het lopen van de motor op gas?

Dit maakt heel veel uit. De M110 motor is erg gevoelig voor het aanzuigen van valse lucht. Bij mij was het probleem, na het vlak maken van de plaat dan ook weer opgelost. Kijk ook even naar de luchtinlaatslangen of die niet zijn losgeschoten. Bij sommige modellen zit er een soort backfire beveiliging in de luchtleiding (zie foto). Als die eruit springt wil je motor ook niet lekker stationair meer lopen.

Fernando, bedankt voor je snelle reactie!
Wat je zegt is wel logisch: zonder die schijf zuigt ie meer lucht naar binnen, dat verandert de mengsel bereiding dus zou ik de verdamper opnieuw moeten (laten) afstellen.
Ik wacht wel tot ik die nieuwe schijf binnen heb en zie dan verder.
