Mijn OM615 is voorzien van trekstarter en een lijnpomp met olievuldop. Voor alle zekerheid maar even gepeild....hm....er zat nog slechts een bodempje in.

Maar welke olie dan en hoeveel?

Er zou gewone motorolie in moeten. Logisch, want daar worden de andere pompen ook mee gesmeerd. Maar hoeveel? Halfvol? Helemaal vol? Geen idee.

Vullen tot het eruit loopt aan de zijkant, daar zit een niveauplug en de moet er even uit.

Nog even ter aanvulling.
Het is vrij onwaarschijnlijk dat er te weinig olie inzit, de niveauplug aan de zijkant is voornamelijk bedoeld om de naar binnen gelekte brandstof af te tappen. Met andere woorden: de pomp wordt steeds voller.
Af en toe moet je de plug er dan ook uitdraaien en net zo lang olie naar binnen gieten tot er geen brandstof maar smeer olie uit het gat komt.

De aftapplug bij het rode pijltje. 200ml is meestal wel genoeg, dus net iets minder dan een kwart liter. De eerste keer kan er een hoop diesel uitkomen.

Verversen elke keer als je de motorolie ververst, elke 7500-10000 km. Vergeet ook niet de olie in het luchtfilter te verversen.

Wat gebeurt er als je er teveel in gooit. komt het er dan elders uitlopen? Of heb je dan een serieus probleem?

het boutje schroef je een beetje los, het hoeft er niet helemaal uit, want het is een holle, zg. banjo-bout. Dan gooi je de olie er in, en wacht tot er schone olie uit de bout komt. Eerst komt er diesel-oliemengsel uit. Houdt wat lappen gereed om het allemaal op te vangen.

Aan de achterkant van de pomp zit nog een ontluchting, als je de bout niet losdraait of de olie nooit ververst, dan komt het daar uit.
