Ik ben in de laatste fase van een opknapproject.

Voor het aanbrengen van een undercoating/bodyshoot laag heb ik goede ervaringen met Terotex / Teroson Records 2000HS in onderschroefbekers die ik verwerk met een UBC pistool. Zo'n pistool 'zuigt' de undercoating mee in de luchtstroom:

Nu wil ik verder met het behandelen van de holle ruimtes met Terotex / Teroson HV 400 wax.
Er wordt door Terotex aangeraden hiervoor een drukbekerpistool te gebruiken.

Wat ik me afvraag, werkt zo'n drukbekerpistool nou ook op het principe van aanzuiging? Of wordt de beker echt op druk gezet en wordt de vulling de luchtstroom ingeperst?

Er staan op diverse sites van verschillende info of je nou wel of niet zo'n UBC onderschroef pistool kan gebruiken voor holle ruimte / wax behandelingen.
Dit is de eerste keer dat ik de Teroson HV 400 ga gebruiken en wil even niet te geknoei met experimenteren.

Wie heeft ervaring of tips voor me?

Niemand hier met ervaring voor preserveren holle ruimte met een perslucht-pistool?

Ik gebruik dus Teroson HV 400, deze scoort goed in vergelijkende testen. Voor de verwerking wil ik weten of mijn UBC pistool voldoende is, of dat ik echt een drukbekerpistool nodig heb.

Kan je hellaas niet helpen, volg het topic wel, het kan altijd nuttig zijn in de toekomst

Ik koop altijd de kant en klare van valvoline, in spuitbus ( dus op druk) Maar ze zijn ook te koop in grotere volume's, en dan heb je nodig zo'n pistool en compressor. Op jouw laatste foto lijkt mij dat het een schroeffles is die je gebruikt met je pistool en compressor.

Die kan past op het toestel zonder beker. Je hebt wel een beetje druk nodig om dit te spuiten. Zelf heb ik 8 bar in het honk. Is echt niet moeilijk te gebruiken.

Met onderschroefbker is het lastig om wax of antiroest met een slang in de ruimtes te spuiten.
De Bus opwarmen op de verwarming helpt wel maar toch komt er nog maar zeer weinig wax uit zelfs met een korte slang van maar 50 cm.
Een langere slang kun je vergeten met onderbeker.
Als je druk op de onderbeker zet (met het gevaar dat hij eraf of uit elkaar knalt, komt er wel ineens een hoop uit, maar dit wordt een enorme kliederboel.

Als je het makkelijk en goed wilt doen is een drukbeker dus aangeraden.
