Hallo allemaal,

Na bijna 2 jaar schorsing van mijn W123 300TDT als gevolg van de mrb in NL toch gister de auto uit de schorsing en stalling gehaald. Hij heeft alleen af en toe aan de acculader gehangen verder nooit iets mee gedaan de laatste twee jaar. Toch was ik wel benieuwd of ie in een keer zou starten (stilstand is immers meestal achteruitgang). Hij startte alsof die nooit had stil gestaan! Dat vind ik zo fantastisch aan deze auto's. :grin: Meteen heb ik hem even naar de garage gebracht voor een grote beurt en om alles even te checken. Volgende week kan ik dus echt gaan rijden. Wat heb ik die auto gemist.

Ik hoop dat ik nog steeds van de wagen kan genieten als ik mijn eerste MRB heb moeten betalen :sick: . We zullen zien...

Zal volgende week nog wat foto's posten want volgens mij heb ik mijn huidige MB nooit officieel voorgesteld hier.

Hallo Wietse

dit klusje staat mij ook te wachten maar die van mij word in november 40 jaar daarom wacht ik nog even is wel een W115/114 5 cilinder diesel die zal het ook wel doen als ik jou verhaal zo lees.
maar het is toch spannend vind ik om de auto na 2 jaar weer te starten en uit de stalling te halen.

ik wens je nog veel plezierige km''s toe.

maar we rijden wel met plezier...

Heerlijk ritje gemaakt afgelopen weekend. Wat rijdt zo'n wagen toch super!

Vond wel een flinke plas water achter de bestuurdersstoel. Dat is dus balen. Wist dat de scharnierbak aan die kant al een beetje aan het roesten was maar had niet verwacht dat dat in een droge verwarmde stalling toch langzaam doorvreet want hij heeft tot nu toe nooit gelekt. Kan geen andere reden bedenken/vinden waardoor ik anders water binnen zou hebben.

Ga hem met pijn in het hart toch maar te koop zetten.

Ja, maar heb helaas geen andere mogelijkheid. Dus is dit of niets....

Ha Wietse, vanzelfsprekend ;)

Hans en Richard, Ik heb al zitten zoeken maar kan bij achterraam of deur geen waterspoor vinden ofzo (heb geen schuifdak). Heb trouwens dacht ik hier op het forum gelezen dat achter de voorstoelen het laagste punt van de auto is en water dus daar naartoe stroomt ook als het bijv. van voor komt. Jullie hebben wel gelijk moet er even rustig naar kijken maar ben tegenwoordig vader en heb niet heel veel tijd en zin meer in dit soort gehobby, ookal rij ik er met veel plezier in...

De vloer achter de voorstoel is idd het laagste punt, dus daar verzameld het.

Gewoon niet te snel een beslissing nemen waar je later spijt van krijgt :wink

Beste,

Nog goed gezocht en kon geen andere plek vinden van het waterlek dan bij motorkapscharnier linksvoor. Vorige week de auto verkocht. Over een paar jaar als mijn budget wat groter is en ik wat meer tijd heb schaf ik er misschien wel weer een aan want het blijven fantastische auto's. Het rijden in de W123 is dus even over voor mij. Heb nu een w202 benzine geleend van een vriend van mij en ga op zoek naar iets anders (Denk een Japanner). Ik zal zeker het forum blijven volgen want ik lees met veel plezier alle fantastische projecten en verslagen. Ook ben ik erg benieuwd wanneer de hier bekende 6.9 eindelijk zal rijden!
