Hallo Mensen.
Hoewel ik nog niet klaar ben met de 240TD kon ik het toch niet laten weer een auto erbij te kopen...

Ik heb laatst mijn vorige 450SE verkocht en misstte het heerlijke rijden in zo een wagen te veel.
Nu heb ik eigenlijk weer precies dezelfde auto gevonden, weer een milanbruine 450SE, ditmaal van 1978 in plaats van 1977 en nu Bambus (lichtbruin) bekleding in plaats van Pergament (wit).

Ik moet er nog mee naar de RDW maar ik heb hem wel al thuis staan. Spannend!
Ik heb de originele rekening er ook bij gekregen, wel grappig.

Dat wordt weer stoer benzine tanken :D

Hele mooie auto! Zo een zou ik er ook nog wel bij willen in de toekomst. Nog niet zo lang geleden vond ik dit model echt helemaal niks (net als de W123, overigens :-)), maar nu verkies ik 'm boven een W126. Niet boven een W140, want dat vind ik gewoon de belichaming van de S-Klasse. Lomp en overdreven, maar zo gaaf en luxe. Helaas veel te duur om te rijden en kwalitatief ook niet zo geweldig.

Mooie bak Mathieu, benzine tanken is overigens geen probleem. Heb laatst nog geïnformeerd voor mijn 500E maar ze gooien nog gewoon vol :lol: :cry:

Jij bent nogal handig geloof ik. Moet je niet een paar reserve delen erbij hebben ? Ik heb nog precies zo`n 450 SE staan in matige staat maar met werkelijk alle opties. Origineel ca 180.000 km. Kan je de auto lekker volstoppen met allemaal gratis opties.

hoi Reev,

tja, een paar dingetjes zijn er natuurlijk altijd. Ik wil graag getint glas erin zetten en een toerenteller.
Verder is het (kunststof) rooster van de grille gescheurd.

Probleem is alleen dat ik geen plaats heb voor een (sloop) auto, en ik heb eigenlijk teveel betaald voor deze wagen en ik kan het thuis niet verkopen om nog meer uit te geven nu.

Of verkoop je ook onderdelen?

Waar zit je trouwens ergens?

Onderdelen verkoop ik ook wel ja. Heb nog een andere W 116 sloop staan. De 450 Se verkoop ik liever in zijn geheel. De verzameling moet toch een beetje inkrimpen. De 450 heb ik overigens al een jaar of 15. Kan er moeilijk afstand van nemen. Stuur maar een PM tje of mail

Hoi Toon!

Ja zoiets was wel te verwachten. Toen ik de Wagen kocht in Dortmund was al wel te zien dat de kokers en achterranden al gauw weer een keer aangepakt moesten worden.
Maar de auto reed altijd goed, motor en bak had ik nooit een klacht over!

Deze 450 is wel beter maar onevenredig duurder...
Ik had die vorige wellicht ook beter op kunnen knappen, was goedkoper geweest. Maar ja, hij is nu toch in goede handen ;-)

Leuk om te zien, ik blijf graag op de hoogte!

Ik ga vandaag een nieuwe set bougiekabels bestellen van BERU. Kost ook weer een smak geld, tja het zijn ook 9 Kabels 

Dag Mensen,

Ik zat dit eens terug te lezen, leuk hoor!

Helaas heb ik de 450 gisteren te koop gezet. Niet omdat ik hem kwijt wil (heb er tenslotte lang naar gezocht) maar ook ik ben mijn baan kwijt, en dat gaat je toch niet in de koude kleren zitten in de practijk...

En met dat hele verhaal van die mooie gouden 240D van Ivo voor ogen verwachtte ik dat ook mijn wagenpark juist op dit moment ineens oud-ijzerprijs was...

Toch werd ik vanmorgen al meteen door 2 serieuze kopers gebeld! Eigenlijk wil ik de wagen geeneens kwijt, hij staat al de hele winter stil en ik heb er nog geen zomer van kunnen genieten!

Ik denk dat ik de rest ook maar te koop zet en zie wat ik overhoud. Ik moet nu echt de 240TD klaar gaan maken om eindelijk eerst eens te kunnen testen hoe die rijd. Pas als ik daartevreden over ben kan ik de 240D weg doen, toch.

Ach ja. nog wat fotootjes van toen de zon nog scheen! het komt wel weer! ;)

Hoi Mathieu,

Wat een mooie wagen zeg, waar heb je hem te koop staan, zonde dat je hem eventueel weg moet doen.
Rij je ook op LPG.

Dit is ook mijn droom auto
maar dan de dieselvorm
300sd

als ik een werkschuur had wist ik het

W116 kopen , opknappen en mijn reserve om617 erin bouwen (met een beetje hulp)

mijn motorisch opgelapte 300D (met nieuwe kop) loopt super , dus mijn reserve blok blijft dus reserve

Nee de 450 rijd gewoon op Benzine. Heb ik toch liever, de vorige die ik had heb ik na 2 jaar op LPG omgebouwd maar ik vond hem toen wat te sloom en op benzine ook niet meer zo mooi lopen.

Ja ik ben ook een dieselfanaat. Mijn andere wagens zijn allemaal 4 cyl. diesels, ongeblazen, lekker simpel! Daarom wilde ik er ook graag 1 krachtpatser bij hebben :D

Ik hoop dat de 450 kan blijven, ik zal de 200TD eerst proberen te verkopen Het lijkt los te gaan lopen met de wijzigingen houderschapsbelasting, hopenlijk komt er weer wat beweging in de markt.
